My stay at The Ridge Resort was nice, thanks to the lovely views and spacious accommodations. I loved relaxing in the hot spa overlooking the area, though I wish the resort had a bit more luxury touches. The location is a perfect balance between tranquility and easy access to Queenstown.
I found the unit spacious, with a private backyard hot tub and plenty of room for my family. It was well-equipped with a lounge area for games and relaxation, which made for a comfortable stay.
The staff were incredibly friendly and provided great service throughout my visit. Although it's not a five-star experience, they made me feel welcome during my stay.
The location was convenient, positioned between the airport and Queenstown. I had easy access to grocery stores and restaurants in Frankton, which was a plus.
While I didn't dine extensively at the resort, I appreciated having nearby dining options that featured regional products. It made it easier to enjoy local flavors during my stay.
I enjoyed the facilities, including the option for free bike loans. The laundry services were also handy during my family's longer stay.

My stay at The Ridge Resort was nice, thanks to the stunning views and spacious accommodations. The full-sized spa pool on the deck was fantastic for relaxing after a day of exploring. However, the location requires a bit of travel to get into Queenstown itself, which might not suit everyone.
I found the apartment incredibly spacious, ideal for our group of three couples. Each couple had their own room, and the layout was very convenient for sharing facilities. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made meal prep a breeze!
While the resort is perched high, offering glorious views of the Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu, it does mean some travel is required to get into the heart of Queenstown (which is quite busy with tourists!).
We enjoyed cooking together in the well-appointed kitchen. Breakfast was especially nice with the option to have a barbecue on the deck, creating a lovely atmosphere to start the day.
I loved the large spa pool and the deck area where we could relax and enjoy the view. Amenities like laundry and car hire were also a plus for a comfortable stay.

I had a fantastic stay at The Ridge Resort. The spacious unit I stayed in had a private hot tub and overlooked the stunning Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu. While it's not brand new, the care and attention shown in the amenities made it comfortable and enjoyable. I appreciated the well-stocked firewood and the game area with a pool table and table tennis. The views were simply amazing, but I had to pay attention to the resort map for late check-in since the units are split across different drives.
The unit was spacious and comfortably furnished, equipped for 8 and had a large BBQ on the deck, along with its own full-sized spa pool.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring the hot spa was checked regularly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
The resort's location is great, offering a perfect mix of peaceful surroundings yet close to the hustle and bustle of Queenstown, with good grocery stores nearby.
The unit had a barbecue, which allowed for some fun outdoor cooking experiences with stunning views as the backdrop.
The facilities included free bike loans, a game area with a DVD library, and a daily newspaper, making my stay enjoyable and convenient.

I had a lovely stay at The Ridge Resort, enjoying the nice views of the Remarkables and the lake. though the resort does show some signs of age. The facilities, especially the hot spa on the deck and the well-stocked games area, added to the experience. I didn’t dine on-site, but there were traditional Greek products available which piqued my interest and added a nice touch to the experience.
